Who doesn’t love the great taste of birthday cake! I wanted to set out to make a birthday cake latte, and in doing so, I decided to start out by making a fitting cake batter syrup to use to flavor my latte! It only takes ten minutes to make, so its a no lose situation! And who doesn’t love a little bit of a sweet taste to their coffee in the morning?! Ingredients

  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp cake batter flavor

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Go ahead and turn your stove top to medium and we will start adding our ingredients

Step 2

First, add one cup of water to your sauce pan. Then add one cup of sugar.

Step 3

Now mix your water and sugar for about four minutes. You want to make sure that you dissolve all of the sugar. Mix until everything looks clear.

Step 4

Once your mixture is clear, it is a simple syrup. Immediately take your pan off of the burner and turn the burner off. Move the pan to a non-heated surface so the simple syrup can start cooling down.  

Step 5

While the syrup is still warm, add 1 tablespoon of cake batter flavoring. Stir this mixture together until it is nicely combined. It should look a golden color, almost like apple juice!

Step 6

Once your mixture is cooled down, add it to any type of sealable bottle or jar, such as a mason jar or a syrup bottle. Seal the bottle and then put your mixture into the refrigerator! You are all done! Pat yourself on the back and get ready to enjoy your coffee! Click Here
